In here, I will post the various way to make your Coron trip. I am posting other options as well because I do not want to waste our valuable time inquiring about a trip with DIY Coron but later on doing a trip with another entity in Coron.
Aside from my DIY Coron tours, there are also other ways to make a tour in Coron.
1. On Your Own In Coron
Just arrive in Coron. Go to Seadive or the boat station behind the market.
Ask for boat rental there.
Depending on how many you are and your destination, the boat rental rate will vary.
The boat rental range for Coron Island Loop is P1500-P3500.
Goodluck to your bargaining.
You will have to pay your own entrance fee (usually amounting to P575).
You will have to buy your own raw food and charcoal or your own packed cooked food.
You may or may not hire a guide for your your group.
2. Through Lodging In Coron
Almost all lodging in Coron have tours. It’s best to ask them first before asking me.
I really don’t mind getting your tour from others. But as courtesy to those other tour organizers in the lodgings, I would have to refuse you should you decide to combine tours with lodging and me. I am fully aware of the culture in Coron. And I don’t want to have any ill-feelings between those lodgings and me.
Here’s the lodging that also organize tours:
- Village Lodge
- Darayonan Lodge
- Princess Of Coron
- Seadive
- El Rio Y Mar
- Club Paradise
- Sea Coral
- Etc. I think all of the lodging organizes a tour.
Among the lodging posted here, I think Seadive has the most cheapest tour boat.
3. Through Travel Agencies
There are travel agencies that offers coron tour cheaply. Among them are:
- Travel Factor
- Palawan Wonder
- Boris Travel
- Coron Tours
- Butterfly Travel
- Paradise Travel
- etc.
Please do contact them before inquiring with me. I would not wage any price war with them. The tour cost that will be quoted to you is the tour cost that you have to pay. If the tour cost is not acceptable to you, then don’t avail my tour arrangement. If you don’t want to avail my tour arrangement, please be kind and honest enough to tell me, so we both know our stand. I have mentioned above on what I believe my edge if you avail Coron trip arrangement with me.
4. Through Local Tour Coordinators
There are already some “local” tour coordinators appearing in the internet nowadays. They would definitely offer cheap tours. Do search for them. Do ask them first. It may look alike with my itinerary, but they have a different approach on the way they do things. I guess my advantage with them is that Coron or Calamianes have become my expertise and I applied the point of view of a traveler.

As a seasoned traveler, I would say that a Coron trip is not about getting the cheapest offer. It’s really about getting the most valuable offer or arrangement.
My method of Joining Group and Do-It-yourself style is really not new, but I was the first to do this kind of thing in Coron.
What I can really say is that with DIY Coron tours, you have the most optimized itinerary and the most value-for-money tour cost.
